Introducing the CHERBLUBLE!
The Cherpumple is an original recipe from the Charles Phoenix Test Kitchen and the most talked about dessert to come along in years. To take your big 4th of July blowout to the next level, I’ve created a red, white and blue summer version of this culinary concoction. The Cherbluble is a three-layer cake, with a pie baked into each layer - CHERry, BLUeberry and appLE. The BLUeberry takes the place of the Cherpumple’s PUMPkin pie.

Wild Wineberries - The Tastiest Invasive Around
They may be invasive but wineberries taste waaaay too good to yank up by the roots. Native to Japan, northern China and Korea, wineberries were introduced to North America and Europe in the late 1800s as an ornamental and for the potential to create hybrid raspberries and quickly escaped from cultivation to become a flavorful fugitive.

Snow Cone Cocktails Are Summer's Everything
Remember how the smallest thing could excite you when you were a kid? A vending machine filled with cheap plastic toys meant a world of wonder and possibility. The sound of the ice cream truck coming down the street promised the sweetest treat of your life -- like a sugary, colorful snow cone that refreshed you on a hot summer day. All of that seems to fade as you enter your adult years. It's kind of sad, but luckily we have a solution- a way to bring the magic back. It's booze. By adding booze.

The Futuristic Arnold Palmer Cocktail
My dad wasn't much of a drinker. He drank coffee in the morning, and water during the day. But I could imagine him enjoying an Arnold Palmer - a combination of tea and lemon juice - at a party or barbecue. He was also very interested in science, so I think he would have been amused by a blue tea that would turn colors with the addition of lemon juice. It's a futuristic cocktail that certainly didn't exist during Dad's lifetime, but I think he'd approve.

Grab Your Chopsticks: It’s Sushi Cupcake Time!
When we initially set out to tackle this bit of sweetness, we had big ideas about sprinkles, hand-rolled fondant fish, and nonpareils. Then we realized gummy candies are where it’s at!
