Werder Bremen sack Robin Dutt - Viktor Skripnik new head coach
SV Werder Bremen relieved head coach Robin Dutt of his duties with immediate effect as well as assistant coach Damir Buric and goalkeeper coach Marco Langner. Werder's management announced the decision Saturday after the managers discussed the move with the Werder advisory board. The new coach will be the previous U23 coach Viktor Skripnik, who will take over the control of the Bundesliga team with his coaching staff of Florian Kohfeldt, Torsten Frings and Christian Vander.
