Art of F1 2014 - Season Review
Season review of year 2014. Fernando Alonso drives a slow horse, as is Kimi Raikkonen. Lewis Hamilton wins over silver arrow and gets gold. Nico Rosberg does not. Sebastian Vettel doesn't want a bull anymore. Daniel Ricciardo wipes the floor with Seby. Jenson Button gets his balance checked. Young Kevin Magnussen drives good. The rest are mere players in Mr.E's pond.

Racing goes electric: At the track with Formula E, the first e-racing series
The pit lane we're standing in is unusual, and not only because it's a temporary setup placed in the shadow of American Airlines Arena (home of the NBA's Miami Heat). Garages are set up on both sides rather than being limited to one. A few things also appear to be missing. To start, a familiar smell from the usual mix of burning hydrocarbons is absent. And it’s remarkably quiet.

The real problem with Formula 1
I've spent most of my adult life looking to Formula 1 for tech things innovative and buzzworthy. The mind-bending designs of Gordon Murray and Adrian Newey spawned teenage fantasies of moving to Europe and training to become an aerodynamicist. Lightning on wheels: The insane electric racing of Formula E
With just hours before a live, global, contractually required television broadcast, Formula E organizers raced to assemble a track in downtown Miami. The death that changed Nascar
Fifteen years ago one of Nascar's rising stars was killed when the accelerator of his car got stuck and he crashed into a wall at a racetrack. Adam Petty was 19. His death led to new safety features being fitted in the sport's cars." He was just a kid, full of personality, full of life, always smiling, always joking, always with a big thing of bubble gum in his mouth," says Kyle Petty, Adam's father. "He was always blowing bubbles."

How Adam Carolla Became the World's Greatest Paul Newman Racecar Collector
On a Tuesday this spring, as the 600hp rebuilt engine revs, Newman’s 1988 Nissan 300ZX shimmers like new beneath a cloudless sky outside another warehouse Carolla uses a few blocks from his studio–a 13,000-square-foot shrine he created for serious car worship. A showroom displays a portion of the 37 cars he owns. Late ’60s and early ’70s Lamborghinis mix with a fleet of vintage race cars.
