Microsoft's x86 on ARM64 emulation: A Windows 10 'Redstone 3' Fall 2017 feature
Since January 2016 (and maybe before), there's been talk that Microsoft was working on bringing x86 emulation to ARM processors. Sources of mine are now saying that this capability is coming to Windows 10, though not until "Redstone 3" in the Fall of 2017. Here's why this matters: Microsoft officials continue to claim that Continuum -- the capability that will allow Windows 10 Mobile devices to connect to external displays and keyboards -- is going to be a key for the company, its partners and its customers.

BestBuy.com Lists Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC Release
While Rockstar Games has never announced a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2, BestBuy.com may have not gotten that memo. Appearing today (and likely not for long) is a listing for Red Dead Redemption 2 on Windows. I have included screenshots below of the listing. The listing uses generic “Featured at E3” box-art, and only has “Just Announced at E3. Stay tuned for additional information.” under Product Features. No release date is available either. While I expect this listing is a mistake, let’s hope the PC version it predicts is not.

Netflix adds offline streaming to its Windows 10 app
Netflix has offered users the option to download videos to watch later in its Android and iOS apps since late last year. And today that feature is finally making the jump to desktop with the addition of offline videos to the Windows 10 PC app, as reported by Windows Central. Like the mobile apps, the Windows 10 PC app does have a few limitations when it comes to downloading content. Offline downloads are only available for a seemingly random swath of Netflix’s catalog (unsurprisingly, most of Netflix’s own original...

This $1,699 "secure PC" will self-destruct if tampered with
Orwl is a new kind of PC that takes a "die trying" approach to physical device and data security. The palm-sized computer is security-focused from the ground up. It comes with several layers to put a stop to even the most ardent of hackers gaining access to a user's precious data. Not only do you need a password and a corresponding wireless keyfob just to turn on the puck-like PC, the processor goes to sleep and the USB and HDMI ports shut off whenever the keyfob moves out of range, stopping anyone from snooping in.

The WhiteFox mechanical keyboard is a pricey but beautiful gadget
Mechanical keyboards are a bit of a nostalgic luxury, echoing back to the days of punchy, clacky key switches and metal springs and a sound so crisp and loud you can hear it through the walls. These days, a nice mechanical keyboard typically runs you $100 or more, with many of them marketed to enthusiasts or PC gamers and carrying switches from top-line electronics maker Cherry.

In conversation with Polish investment site Strefa Inwestorow (via TechRaptor), Kiciński explores the areas in which Cyberpunk aims to improve on The Witcher 3's success, despite remaining tight-lipped on the particulars.

Today Microsoft announced that Rare’s newest game Sea of Thieves has passed two million players on Xbox One and PC. On top of this achievement, the shared-world adventure title is now the fastest-selling first party new IP of this generation. According to Microsoft’s own Aaron Greenberg, this specific achievement does not include copies distributed with Game Pass, which makes sense since those aren’t exactly “sales.”
