Time to unleash the mad chords. The middle section is supposed to sound wrong. I did that on purpose.

An Intentionally Awful Piece of Music [Crazy Random Electronic Jazz?]
I wanted to deliberately create a piece of music that was bad. It was just a fun exercise to see if I could break through my automatic habit of making stuff which I like the sound of. In my opinion, I actually only partly succeeded here, because there are actually bits of this that I quite like. But at least it made me create something quite different to what I would have otherwise.

Laughing at the Sky - Prance of the Martian Morris Dancers [Instrumental Synth Tune]
Here is a synth tune I made. The idea was to create a synth version of the kind of lead harmonies that you sometimes get in heavy metal music; in particular, the harmony lead lines in the song Alexander the Great by Iron Maiden, and For Whom the Bell Tolls by Metallica. It's not meant to sound like heavy metal though, just inspired by those kinds of lead harmonies.

7 royalty cheques that’ll make you lose your faith in the music industry
You shouldn’t need us to tell you that the music industry—namely, how it chooses to monetize songs—is hopelessly broken. Despite the fact that vinyl sales are increasing, the traditional ways that artists made money (namely, by selling records and touring) are yielding less and less—this, despite Iron Maiden’s new funding model and Beats Music, which aims to pay musicians more for streaming music.

I am a 16-year-old music producer. Here's a song I made!
This song is called "Kuiper", like the Kuiper belt at the edge of our solar system. This song reflects the ambiance of space and the speed of asteroids whizzing by.

Modern 'processed performers' lack humanity says Elton John
The 66-year-old songwriter, made the criticisms at the Royal Academy of Music, where he trained for six years from the age of 11. Speaking to the Sunday Times ahead of a private dinner, he cited a lifelong passion for classical music which in turn inspired his own music. He said; ‘If you love Bach, Mozart, Chopin and Beethoven, you can’t help but be influenced. They wrote the greatest melodies and the most beautiful things of all time.’
