The page linked to a countdown clock that's currently got five days left, but another page seemingly reveals the surprise.

Potential Battlefield 5 leak suggests June reveal and December release date
Upon closer inspection it seems that this leak might not be referencing a WW1 setting but a futuristic one, possibly in the vein of Battlefield 2142. Still a leak, though, and it claims to be BF5 and not a sequel to 2142 so take it for what it is. Who’s up for some Battlefield 5 news? Well, perhaps ‘news’ isn’t the best term here since we’re talking about a leak that may or may not be legit, but you get the idea.

The Legendary Creator of Metal Gear Solid on His Weird New Game
When Hideo Kojima, the celebrated creator of the Metal Gear Solid videogame franchise, took the stage at Sony’s press conference during E3, all he needed to say was two words: “I’m back!” The crowd jumped to its feet and responded with rapturous, sustained applause. Kojima, 52, is revered among gamers and perhaps best described as the medium’s Steven Spielberg, though David Lynch might be a more apt comparison. Metal Gear Solid set a standard for cinematic storytelling, and he infuses every game with a personal, often esoteric, authorial flair.

Star Citizen 3.0's planetary landing blows No Man's Sky away
This week at Gamescom, Roberts Space Industries showed off version 3.0 of Star Citizen, introducing the game's planetary tech. For backers playing Star Citizen in its 2.4 or 2.5 versions, they begin on a space station, and they can cruise around together in some spiffy-looking spaceships, but it's mostly about combat, with a limited sandbox component as well. 3.0, which is coming towards the end of this year, brings the first proper star system in Star Citizen to life, and is a major step towards making this universe feel like a gigantic backdrop.

Battlefield 1 has only 5 singleplayer episodes
According to DICE, there will be 5 different “War Stories” to choose from in Battlefield 1 singleplayer campaign. They are designed to encompass different theaters of WWI, like the Arabian theater (recall the Lawrence of Arabia) or the European theatre. The details of the 5 playable War Stories have been specified by DICE. The fact that they are named “War Stories” instead of plain, old missions probably lies in the fact that there are only 5 of them, which might cause an uproar in a large portion of Battlefield community.
