'Doctor Strange 2' Reportedly Begins Filming Next Year

Though Doctor Strange seemingly died at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios might be planning to bring him back for another solo movie. A rumor reported by the Mirror indicates that star Benedict Cumberbatch is getting a major pay raise to return for Doctor Strange 2, adding more fuel to the fire that Marvel is making major plans for the Sorcerer Supreme after Avengers 4. Now, the Mirror is not the most reliable source, so we should take this with a grain of salt, but they have been accurate with their entertainment reporting before.

Wesley Snipes Teases Two Upcoming Projects In Blade Universe

Wesley Snipes continues to tease a future appearance as Blade, either as a continuation or even in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although Marvel Studios receives plenty of credit for kicking off this current age of superhero movies, they were hardly the first. The success of the original X-Men trilogy and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy both made it possible, but neither of those would've happened without the success of Blade in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Snipes made three appearances as the vampire hero, but fans of his portrayal continue to want more.

    Debunking the Spider-Man 'downgrade'

Those expecting confirmation of a downgrade to Marvel's Spider-Man when assessing final code should probably look away now. Having stacked up the final game against the E3 2017 presentation, our overall conclusion is that Insomniac is on the money here - there have been changes, as there are during production of any game - but there has been no technical downgrade. In fact, we'd say that the final presentation is upgraded in key respects, both technical and artistic.

Paul Feig Not Interested In Directing Guardians of the Galaxy 3

Paul Feig has ruled out the idea of sitting in the director's chair for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The team of misfits and outlaws first appeared in the comics back in 1969, but with a vastly different line-up. The modern incarnation debuted in 2008, before bursting onto the big screen back in 2014. The success of Vol. 1 made household names of such characters as Star Lord, Drax the Destroyer, and Groot. It also officially launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe away from Earth and deeper into the cosmos. An equally successful sequel was released in 2017.

Star Wars Fatigue : It’s Ok To Not Like Star Wars Anymore

After the recent revelation/insinuation that Rian Johnson’s The Last Jedi was poorly received because of Russian Bots (?), a Solo film that no-one wanted, and the announcement of 64,000 new projects in the works – we take a look at the onset of what we like to call Star Wars Fatigue. It surely is unlike a studio to milk a franchise for all it is worth. So we were quite surprised when Disney announced they would be releasing a slew of new releases on various outlets for their acquired flagship franchise Star Wars.

Elizabeth Olsen: Stark's Age of Ultron Nightmares Didn't Foreshadow Infinity War

Tony Stark's Scarlet Witch-induced vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron wasn't a foreshadowing of the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Elizabeth Olsen said. In the said nightmare, Wanda heightened Stark's fear of seeing his Avengers pals die on his watch after they failed to defeat an unknown threat. The horrifying nightmare was capped off with Captain America telling him that he could've done more - further fueling his motivation to push through with the Ultron Program.

Marvel Movie Dropped From 2020 Release Schedule

With the Disney shifting Jungle Cruise's release date to July 24, 2020, the studios simultaneously removed the scheduled July 31, 2020 Marvel Studios film from the slate. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 having been put on hold seemingly indefinitely since the firing of its director James Gunn in July, the shift might mean only two Marvel Studios films will arrive in 2020. Whether or not the film was slated for July 31, 2020 or the May 1, 2020 date (therefore having the July film moved up) is unknown. It's unlikely Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's shift did not play a role in the shake up.

Universe and Blumhouse’s Halloween may be a sequel to the 1978 original but time hasn’t tempered the film’s zealous following; with an impressive $77.5 million dollar opening, the film sliced its way to the franchise’s best debut weekend of all time, the second highest October opening weekend of all time (second only to Sony’s Venom), and the highest ever for a horror movie with a female lead.
