Mr. Oizo drops maniacal new track
"Bear Biscuit," the latest track from Mr Oizo, should come with a whiplash warning. Opening with an ominous drone, the track explodes into head-banging stupidity, and I mean that in the very best way. For almost three minutes disconnected voices, abrasive fire-alarm squeals, and steroid-injected glitch mosh together in a beautiful demonstration of organized chaos. As the dust settles and a broken-record vocal loop closes out the track, one gets the feeling of being in a post-Godzilla Tokyo; equal parts confusion, terror, and amazement.

The Missing Link - Solace
On the occasion of Pictoplasma's "White Noise" exhibition at La Casa Encendida, Madrid, the venue’s lofty roof terrace overlooking the city staged the return of the Missing Link, now offering itself as a perfectly empty, 5 meter tall character that has lost all context, purpose or cause. An inflated mascot with nothing left to sell. Music by Dj Koze - NooOoo (ft. Thomerle & Maiko)

Soundcloud has officially signed a licensing deal with Warner Music Group. This means that Warner artists will get paid whenever their music is played on the site. Soundcloud had announced earlier this year that they were looking to pay artists royalties. Signing a deal with Warner is a big step in that direction. Soundcloud also announced that they will offer a paid subscription service starting in 2015.

DJ Earl
On a basic level, Earl's podcast is an extended Next Life preview, as the initial two-thirds of the mix is dominated by selections from the compilation. Nevertheless, the young producer was also smart enough to not pass up an opportunity to showcase his own talents, which is why the podcast's closing run consists of nothing but unreleased cuts, all of which Earl himself at the very least had a hand in producing.

Deebs - "Waves" (Official Video)
New hometown hero DEEBS is blessing the inter-web again with his mesmerizing new video for “Waves.” It’s yet another brilliant track off his Songs4UByMe EP. The video is produced by Montreal-based graphic designer Skunch (Jason Voltaire), who makes stylistic references to early computer animation and interstitials to form a mesmerizing visual companion to the intricate track. Skunch is also the brains behind Jacques Greene’s video work.
