AMD’s Radeon Pro Duo mashes two Fury GPUs together for 16 teraflops of compute
After first being teased at E3 2015, AMD has finally made its dual Fury GPU official. Dubbed the Radeon Pro Duo, the card combines two of AMD's top tier Fiji GPUs (as used in the Fury X and Fury Nano) onto a single card, resulting in a claimed 16 teraflops of compute performance. The price for such power? A mere $1499 (UK pricing TBC, but probably around £1200). The Radeon Pro Duo goes on sale in "early" Q2 2016.

AMD Ryzen pricing: $500 for 8-core 1800X CPU, undercutting Intel by $600
AMD's Ryzen high-end Summit Ridge CPUs have been priced—and it looks like Intel better batten down the hatches, or be ready to slash its prices to compete. At the top end the Ryzen 1800X will cost $500 (~£500), versus $1,100 (~£1,050) for the Intel Core i7-6900K that AMD is putatively pitching it against. Further down the stack there's the Ryzen 1700X for $400, which AMD is comparing against the $450 Core i7-6800K...

Intel is Dropping Processor Prices in Wake of Ryzen Launch
It seems that Intel is getting nervous about the AMD Ryzen launch and has started to lower prices on their processors. The equivalent 6900K model however still is 999 USD, twice as much as the Ryzen flagship. Others like the quad-core processors do see a price cut. Also we think with a tiny bit of tweaking that 6900K might even get beaten or normalized by even a 329 USD Ryzen 7 1700 processor. The new prices have not gone into effect everywhere, here in the EU they are still at the same old level. In the USA etailers like Newegg also is listing older prices.

AMD Is Making a Really Great Case For Ditching Intel-based Computers
If the last week has led you to be wary of having an Intel CPU powering your PC then you might want to get excited, because it seems like AMD might have started actually making CPUs you’d want instead of having Intel inside. It started last year with the announcement of Ryzen desktop CPUs. We found them to be cheaper and faster than comparably priced CPUs from Intel. Then late in the fall AMD announced a new line of mobile-based APUs—which is what they call their CPUs with integrated graphics.

Intel and AMD announce first Core i5 and i7 chips with Radeon graphics
Back in November, longtime rivals Intel and AMD shocked the computing world when the two companies announced that they’d be teaming up to create laptop chips that combined Intel’s Core line of processors with AMD’s Radeon graphics. And now at CES 2018, the first fruits of that partnership have been revealed, in the form of a pair of Intel Core i5 and i7 chips powered by discrete AMD Radeon RX Vega M GPUs. Along with the processor and GPU, each unit also has 4GB of HMB2 VRAM onboard, which Intel says should help drastically save space internally for laptops while increasing battery life.

Intel Core i9-9900K 9th Gen CPU Review: Fastest Gaming Processor Ever
Although Intel added more cores to its previous-gen Coffee Lake processors in an effort to keep up with AMD's Ryzen CPUs, struggles with its 10nm node obviously delayed a more significant response. The company's ninth-generation Core processors, otherwise known as the Coffee Lake refresh, represent another step forward in a contentious battle for desktop supremacy.

AMD Radeon RX 590 final specs, pricing and performance
Let’s start with the most important piece of information. The official MSRP for Radeon RX 590 is 279 USD. This is a suggested price for nonexisting reference model (I mean there is a slide with a reference design, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be available). That said, the 279 USD price tag is likely just a starting point. The price of RX 590 is therefore 40 USD higher than RX 480 at launch and 50 USD higher than RX 580 at launch (we are talking about 8GB models here).
