The real surprise is that people still use their software.

Indeed...I only have it on my laptop cause said laptop was a gift and I'll need help putting Linux on it and getting off W10. But yeah,I've ran Linux for I think 14 years this Sept.

I've only been running Linux for around 3 years, but I'd never go back. Productivity is so much higher for me on Linux, because I can customize things the way that makes sense for me. Not to mention the huge library of software on the Synaptic package manager!

Definitely. I set it up my way as well..And I also use the Synaptic package manager...It's an oldie but a goodie!

Also because applications don’t constantly crash while you’re working, and the OS doesn’t need to be restarted at least twice a day.

My 6 year old kid could write software better than Microsoft. It doesn’t take much to write a word processor that works.

To recover a system with a corrupt registry hive, Microsoft recommends that you use a system restore point.”

I think the really messed up part of this is that Microsoft is recommending system restore which is another function they have disabled as a default on Windows 10.
