    First happened on January 1, 1976.

    On Jan. 1, 1976, the same day California’s relaxed marijuana law took effect. Cal State Northridge student Danny Finegood altered the Hollywood sign to read Hollyweed by using $50 of curtains and a couple friends. Later in 1976 they had it read “Holywood” on Easter. In 1987, they protested Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North amid the Iran-Contra hearings with “Ollywood.” In 1990, it read “Oil War” in a protest of the Persian Gulf War.

    Tired of what they saw as vandalism, city officials eventually beefed up security with a fence, alarms and eventually installed a closed-circuit surveillance system. With the increased security, Finegood said “it was clear they wanted to keep people away from the sign,” and decided to respect that by ceasing his alterations.

    My biggest book is S, M. L, XL which logs in at 1,376 pages. Lots of pictures though. I bet I am one of the few to have actually read every word. Many just collect it as it is a beautiful book.

    I got into a dildo fight once.

    My one and only time visiting Cleveland. Went to a massive bar in the basement of a Walmart or something. Called the Mine Shaft where you had to slide down a tube to get in. Drinks were so cheap.

    After last call we went across the road into a sex shop. They had huge bins of discount dildos throughout. 2 of the people we were with went into a sex movie booth at the back and we assumed they were getting it on so some of us started lobbing dildos into the booth which had an open top. Probably got about 50 into that booth and 50 more into adjoining booths and they soon started to be thrown back out at us. It soon became a full out, full store dildo battle.

    My favorite so far was the big sign on the side of a house that said: "You can hang a nigger from a tree/ Equal rights he will never see."

    Incredibly racist. Outrage galore. Retweets.

    Except it was posted by the black homeowner as a political message about the treatment of black people, him in particular.

    Regardless, I still do not want to see any large, ugly political sign next door to me and would want to see it taken down as well. #NIMBY

    Let's just look at the one charge of "possessing a firearm in a federal facility". They were shown in the news, on TV and the Internet at a federal facility and possessing firearms. They never denied that. And they were acquitted.

    That can't be mere prosecutorial incompetence. But I am surprised that it is jury nullification as they did not seem to be well received in Oregon and even the people they were protesting for wanted them to go away.
