Pharrell and the Future of Creativity - A Dose of Buckley
Pharrell Williams recently lost a court battle against the family of Marvin Gaye over the similarities between Blurred Lines and Got To Give It Up. He's appealing this loss, and for good reason: this court case could decide whether or not being inspired by or emulating the "feel" of another piece of entertainment is copyright infringement. (Last time I talk about Copyright for a little while... I promise... sort of)
