“I would walk there, for two reasons,” says Letchford. “One, it’d be more exercise. And two, if I’m going to a bar, I’ll be drinking, and I don’t want to want to be driving drunk on my bike.”

Unfortunately for this guy, drunk driving on the bike or drunk in public on foot is going to be the same problem if the cop shows up.

In my younger and skinny days we would do a 5-7 mile loop from the house to the elementary school and back around, 3 days a week we would do it by bike and 1 day a week on foot, felt like all day on foot and only a couple of hours by bike, I like both for exercise reasons, my point is why pick one, most major cities have both paths now, trails and bike trails.

I still to this day though don't understand the skin tight biking lycra stuff, I always chose my clothes and the horror of no helmet.
