I see this on facebook every day. People need reassurance, as there is lots of low self esteem people out there and facebook makes it really easy to do this.
This is true. I'm not sure what I dislike more though, people who make their lives seem perfect (pictures of themselves toting $1000 purses, rolling around in fancy cars) or people who post a nice picture being all, "Just woke up, look like shit but oh well!" whilst clearly doused in makeup, fishin' for them compliments. For me personally I can kind of tell when a posted picture is genuine and organic, and when it's posted for an ulterior reason..
