I don't get one thing, why not just enjoy the holiday without caring so much of how people will perceive you? I know a ton of atheists that celebrate christmas not for the religious reasons but for the traditional concept of bringing people together. There is a lot of people that have christian families, or are friends of people in christian families, not everyone is a practicing christian.
