Lance Armstrong will testify with '100% transparency and honesty'

Disgraced former cyclist Lance Armstrong has told the BBC he will testify with "100% transparency and honesty" at any future inquiry into doping.

    Asked if he regretted doing the interview with Winfrey, he responded: "I was going to have to answer the questions anyway. "There were plenty of lawsuits in place that would have put me in the cross-hairs."

    He did it because he knew he was going on the chopping block, decided to act preemptively to save face. I doubt he would have ever confessed if he knew this could be kept under wraps. Even though it may not look like it, this was totally self serving, maybe he thought the outcome would be different.
