Trump is not a dictator, and US is a republic. Kavanaugh was appointed as a result of a vote of many people. Stop putting it on a single man. Granpa maybe a bit outa his mind but isn't that is exactly why we have all that checks and leverages? And if they pass people like this, deal with it, those people are there because they were appointed by the people you elected.

Well the is the while point of tariffs, to promote creation of facilities on-shore, rather than taking things off-shore for cost savings.

I have no intention to argue or follow your numerous links. (I am not even from UK so I could not care less about what Brexit means for UK). I am just stating the fact of the manipulative nature of the title of the article.
Title should say "No deal Brexit is the equivalent of a major defeat in war" to not be counted manipulative.

The article by the link is about no deal brexit. The difference between brexit and no deal brexit is like difference between sex and no consent sex.

There are 2 types of people in this world: people who think "worthless" things are not needed, and those who enjoy them. Oh yeah, just in case you forgot it. Christmas tree is "worthless waste of resources" as well.

"The problem is, with people like me and Michael Hayden, we never have any say about pricing," he said. "By the time there's a pricing, we're gone already. We've done the science and the clinical work and everything, and then it's the commercial and financial people that determine the price."
The decision to price Glybera at $1 million was based on a business calculation, according to van Deventer.
To set a price, they compared Glybera to other drugs that treat rare diseases.
Because Glybera is a one-time treatment that can last at least 10 years (according to patient data collected so far), the $1-million price seemed reasonable, van Deventer said.

Unimaginable! Turns out that if you have money you can actually buy goods, while those who have less money are unable to buy as many goods! How long will this capitalism last?! When are we finally ditch money for communism that worked so well everywhere?!

In terms of procedure, you would first tell the inspections officer that you fear returning to your country and that you wish to apply for asylum. If you convince the officer of your fear, you should be given what’s called a “credible fear interview” with a trained asylum officer. If that goes well, you’ll be allowed to apply for asylum, either while in detention or after release on bond.
So if they make an orderly line then possibly 1% of them might be let in.

It is sad, but it is kind of the whole point of imposing the tariffs. Tariffs make companies producing goods in the US more competitive against those that produce goods in China.
