Once you watch this little gem of a gameplay video, you'll realize that all those worries and doubts that people had about this derailing Creative Assembly and making a laughingstock of Total War were entirely wrong.

Magic and flying creatures and yes, giant spiders, don't have much to do with a traditionally historically-focused RTS, but then again... there's only so much history throughout the ages. You will run out of stuff to say about the past, and from Sid Meier's Beyond Civilization it can be understood why Creative Assembly didn't want to make a game set in the future.

Personally, I would have loved to see Warhammer 40,000 as opposed to Warhammer Fantasy, but that's just MHO and not a slight on this game. It looks great, has excellent animations, and I'll most definitely get it... just maybe not on launch (I'm looking at you, Rome II)
