    Yeah I have to admit, at least in that picture, I didn't really "get" the design choices. She looks a little like a preying mantis wearing a tuxedo... I have faith that when it's all put together with whatever her voice actress does and what her personality is it'll be cohesive, but right now I'm not really feeling it. I'm just really hoping that the design looks better in motion or at the very least fits well enough with everything else that I won't mind it.

    Okay, thoughts - The description of "Cry For Help" said that it had something to do with the interruption of Crying breakfast friends, maybe Peridot tries to send a distress call to homeworld and in doing so messes up TV? But I'm thinking something might happen that destroys Steven's room, or makes the temple unsafe to stay in for some reason during that episode, which is why they go to the "Keystone Motel" in the next one. Because we haven't had any references to the motel being nearby before, I doubt they'd go there just to get breakfast, which makes me think they have to stay there for some reason. It also gives more context to "Onion Friend" and why they would be at Onion's house, if they really needed a place to stay. Then "Historical Friction" is when they try and stay with Greg and old tensions arise. Finally taking a wild guess here, but in "Friend Ship" they take a boat out to find Malachite?

    All of that made me reconsider who Sardonyx might be, and now I'm thinking it could be possible that Sardonyx is Pearl and Garnet's fusion after all. Since they're out of options to find Malachite they fuse in order to come up with a plan, and maybe her plan involves using something toxic in the temple, so Amethyst has to leave with Steven? Or she just kicks Amethyst and Steven out. And then in "Historical Friction" they come unfused we learn that Pearl and Garnet didn't get along at first (because they both wanted to lead the group after Rose left?) but by the end they reconcile their differences so they can form Sardonyx again and go find Malachite?

    3 more days until we get some answers!

    Dang, these sound great! Not quite vegan though haha, still it might be worth it to experiment and see if they could be made using a different binder!
