I had it once and it landed me in the hospital... Nowadays I have a chicken wings phobia. Mine stay on the grill for a MINIMUM of 30 min. Salmonella is a BITCH.
The key with chicken is to make sure your meat isnt pink inside. Once it gets that nice white color you want to take it off the grill otherwise overcooked chicken tastes dry because all of the juices have escaped.
I had the same problem! I felt like my head was going to pop off my neck from the immense pressure I was feeling, I would get hot flashes and cold flashes that would change every 10 minutes or so. This was all while I'm sitting on the toilet thinking I'm going to fucking expire any moment and whoever finds me will find me on the toilet thinking i shat my brains out.
For those who are wondering.. I bought this fancy shrimp ring for a party I was planning and I left it out to defrost. I forgot about it and didnt even open it during the shindig.. After a few hours I noticed and just put it back in the freezer. A month or so later I decided to have it, ate about 15 shrimp and within about an hour or so I was already feeling the effects. I will never do that again :) Even now I'm terrified to eat any leftovers that are more than a day old.
