In-Car Facial Recognition Could Deter Road Rage
Slow drivers, tailgaters, lane cutters — they’re all fuel for road rage. While motorists may feel justified slamming the steering wheel, flipping the bird or swearing a blue streak, this kind of irritation makes drivers more aggressive and less attentive.

I think a technology that would let drivers better communicate with each other on the road would be a better solution. Instead of raging, flipping the bird, tailgating, yelling & cursing, etc you can voice activate a friendly message to the driver ahead or behind you asking them to do something, like "Please move into the right lane, I would like to pass you", or "Thanks for letting me in, much appreciated.", etc. There would be pre-set messages that you can send so people don't escalate an inappropriate situation further...
