8 years ago+3 3 0Suggestion thread for next week! (Week of 7/12)
Each week this tribe will be hosting a gaming get-together on PC.
How this will work, is each week there will be a discussion thread for suggesting games that people in our community are interested in playing. So, for example one comment says CSGO, another says DOTA 2, and another says TF2.
Then, a day or two later a poll will be created of the most popular submissions and will be voted upon, like so.
Whichever suggestion wins on each poll will be the official get-together game for that weekend. That game will then be exempt from votes for the next two weeks to provide variety. If you are interested in the game voted for that week, you can join our steam group here and just follow the instructions on the event announcement to play with us.
The upcoming poll will be made next Tuesday (7/14) and will close on Friday morning (7/17).
EDIT(1): The suggestions are now going to carry over until this Tuesday (7/21) and will close this Friday morning (7/24).
As CS:GO was chosen last week it is exempt from voting so please make other suggestions.
Edit(1); Slight revision of plans, I'm slowly finding I have less time to keep up with this. I'm going to be making another post in order to search for a mod for this sub and the steam group to assist me if I'm not around or if I don't make any mod posts. If you'd like to apply, look at the sticky posts and it will be at the top. I'm looking for someone who is fairly active both on Steam and on Snapzu, for the time being though, this suggestion thread is going to carry over to this weekend as I had not been able to coordinate anything. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you'd like to participate even if you didn't vote, please go to this thread and post your Steam username in the comments before tomorrow. I will send you an invite to our steam group making things immensely easier to organize for tomorrow.

No activity from /u/golfball1111 in 3 weeks after claiming /t/bindingofisaac.
No consistent activity from /u/MrHouse after claiming /t/kerbalspaceprogram, this one I'm iffy on as he has been semi-active (logged on 3 days ago, and two weeks ago), yet he has made no real effort to do anything with this tribe and I would hate to see it sit there dead.
I would love to help grow these tribes into healthy discussion forums for their respective games, similar to how I have made /t/gamers for get-togethers and general gaming discussion.
Edit: So, /u/golfball1111 either renounced his tribe or someone here did it for me without commenting. Either way, I now have /t/bindingofisaac. As for /t/kerbalspaceprogram, /u/MrHouse still has not posted anything since I last checked and he still has /t/kerbalspaceprogram.

In order to organize easier for the event this weekend, I have made a steam group for this tribe. If you would like to join and participate, please put your Steam username in the comments, then I will be able to send you an invite. I've made it invite only for similar reasons as Snapzu, making it more manageable and more exclusive to stop trolls. With this group though, it will allow everyone to just go to the members list to see whoever is online at the time and will allow me to make event reminders. Along with this, it will make it easier to join up in the same game server. So please, just put your steam username in a comment below, and I will send you an invite.
