Researchers Now Able To 3D Print Working Blood Vessels
One of the biggest problems with printing human meat was the creation of blood vessels and ventricles. Making a solid mass of flesh was easy but adding a way to pump blood and other nutrients through the flesh was more difficult. Now researchers at the University of Sydney, Harvard, Stanford and MIT, have solved some of these problems by creating a skeleton of vessels and then growing human cells around them.

Until we create an AI that is disgusted with what we have become and squashes us like an annoying fire ant hill.
Given the current state of the world and the fact we refuse to evolve out of violent tendencies, I feel like that could happen any day now.
Its scary but intriguing at the same time!
This revolutionizes not only the medical and transplant fields but everything. We can create a new species if we want. What's to stop us? The implications are mind boggling. If we can make living sustainable tissue, we can do anything. /u/Chubros is absolutely right, we are playing God. At what cost? Tread carefully humanity, tread carefully.
There are definitely a lot more issues to resolve before we can truly create a new species, bit we are getting there... slowly but surely.
