While the house prices are only at this level in Auckland itself, it will inevitably begin to have an effect on the rest of the nation as priced-out Aucklanders seek to buy elsewhere, thus pushing up supply in other markets. What, if anything, is to be done about the amount of foreign investment coming through - is it something we need to address? If so, how?

Agreed, I think they lost their way. I guess the problem is how broad and subjective that feeling is - what works for one person might not for another.

Thanks! I think it'll take me a while to get used to the snap-system, but it seems to be throwing out some decent content so far. I guess we're lucky that only interesting/important Kiwi content is generally loud enough to be heard internationally.
