Finding the Coathanger
Find Albireo, which will be between Vega and Altair (which, with Deneb, forms the Summer Triangle). Albireo and the Coathanger will usually be in the same binocular field of view. Six stars make up the bar of the hanger while 4 stars make up the hook.
