[Optimization] We have released an update that optimizes a number of pages
This morning for the sake of speeding up the service and our ongoing efforts to optimize this platform in the midst of a considerable traffic influx we have made some general updates across a number of pages, the most notable being the front page list. We hope these changes will result in a noticeable speed increase for everyone!

The most direct way of supporting the site currently I believe is a donation. I'm sure further options for support will be made available as things get figured out further, I believe ideas along the lines of Patreon were suggested.

Thanks! Were there optimization changes made to the Snap submission dialog as well? It feels much faster than previously.
To me it feels the same, but you know what? I actually like it that way. I feel like it gives you a chance to reflect on what you're about to post before you actually do it. Turned me away from posting a few times.
Haha, well the Submit button takes about the same amount of time. Biggest thing I noticed was adding tribes to post to feels much faster, and more responsive for me. Maybe it's just a load thing.

Site seems snappier (pun intended). Page response times are under a second. Used to be 2-3s per page call.
