It's because he's a fake piece of shit and clearly in it for the money and not the faith. If he was a real "man of god", he wouldn't need to fly around in a private jet, he wouldn't need 3 or 4 luxury homes all over the place. He would instead use his status to actually help people. Sadly, it's the nature of the beast.
This is one of the direct reasons I converted from Protestantism to Catholicism. Thought I believe the denomination and religion I am in to be correct, even if it were to be not right, the fact that (most) of the priests are genuine comforts me.
