A group of white Georgia men and women with an alleged penchant for displaying the Confederate flag while terrorizing innocent black partygoers was just indicted as a street gang—a creative charge that would triple the time they could spend in prison, if convicted.

First, I think this is great. If the descriptions of what happened are accurate, this definitely is a gang.
Second, I posted with the the link to Slate's take on the story. They are both describing the same event, but while the Gawker story correctly says they are being charged as a gang, the Slate story just mentions the name of the law they are charged around and then uses the word terror and terroristic threats in the story and headline. Misleading and inaccurate in the name of generating page views. Not only a poor showing for Slate, this is also a good reminder to pay attention to what you read.
I hope they reap the rewards of their hatred.
