Also outside of the classroom. Apple was a one-man phenomenon.
It sure was. I doubt with it's dogle fest,it can win back people. And let's not even mention their price gouging.
Not to mention their new macbooks have more or less the same specs than my 6-year old laptop. I can live with the dongles, but I'm not going to cough up a big load of cash to get the same thing I already have.
Yes, and that man was Steve Wozniak.
As a computer nerd, I have much respect for Wozniak. But the recent success of Apple was much more about design than computing, and that was Steve Jobs's specialty.
It's true that Jobs rode Wozniak's coattails further than anyone could've predicted at the beginning.
Bad decision after bad decision with Apple these days. At least with Steve at the helm, he had a laser focused vision.
Google software integration is the key here. Districts across the nation are hooked on google services, so a chrome book only makes sense.
Not surprising. Chromebooks are way cheaper than iPads. It's most likely cost related.
