The tourists are so scarce you can hear their footsteps clattering down the empty shopping street. Nearly a week after the deadly airport bombings, it is eerily quiet in Istanbul. I wouldn't go there. Erdogan is trying his hardest to create a caliphate where suicide bombing is the country's newest sport. I have zero interest in supporting anything Islamic. Sorry, to all of you "moderate" Muslims, maybe you should do something about the people who are making you look bad...I mean, something other than supporting them through your "Islamic charities".
