I have no problem with persons owning gums. I do, however, think that gun owners need to be more accountable, especially when their guns cause hurt or death to children due to improperly making their guns safe.

Most places have laws stating the guns must be locked away unless in use. In my part of the south, if you are not planning to go out to a range or hunt you are supposed to have it in a gun cabinet, safe or locked place where children under 18 cannot reach/get to it. I don't know how harsh these laws are though, probably not as harsh as they could/should be.

So just how exactly are they going to enforce the law when the police refuse to give up their own 2nd amendment rights?

Not a surprise decision from the 9th circuit, they have always been hostile to gun rights.

I know... How about we focus on getting weapons and explosives away from terrorists and their organizations... before trying to disarm Americans...

If we have a right to own guns, but have no right to apply for and get concealed carry permits, then why is open carry not allowed either? I'm confused here. I can only assume that somewhere another appeals court will find the opposite way and this will hit the Supreme court, then that will depend on the outcome of Trump Clinton.
