As much as I've enjoyed the Droid Maxx (the battery life has been so much better than previous smartphones I've used) I'm kinda looking forward to getting a new one. It's definitely showing its age, and Motorola refuses to put out an update to 5.0. I could experiment with rooting it but it's not important enough for me to risk turning it into a brick. I use my phone regularly.
So I'll be eligible for an upgrade in July, but based on this article I'll probably wait until October before I actually do it. I hope I won't be disappointed.
I got a phone that really didn't want but only have it because it was "free".
70% of us are in the same exact situation! :D
I'm in this kind of dilemma now. It's so hard to wait it out through summer though.
I am due for an upgrade in July,guess I will be waiting until fall now.
