The great bathroom debate: paper towel or hand dryer?
It’s the age-old question that continues to baffle many of us in the bathroom: when you come to drying your hands, should you reach for the paper towel, or the electric dryer? For some, this decision might be related to hygiene, and for others, drying performance. For many, environmental concerns are also an important consideration, no doubt motivated by the fact that our daily activities contribute to the complex web of growing sustainability pressures facing the planet.

Of course this is mainly a discussion of effect on the environment. It doesn't go into hygiene, the effects of blasting bacteria into the air and a number of other important considerations.

Mythbusters tested this and paper towels are more sanitary. For me...I touch nothing in a public restroom. My private parts are cleaner than anything in a public restroom.
Absurd.
Or my preffered option: Wipe directly on pants. Around the hip/butt area normally, or down around the knees if you need to not look like someone pissed on your hip/butt area.
