Is it weird that the only reason why I know about Almaty is because of Civ 5?
I think that's the only reason any of us who don't live in Russia/Kazakhstan know anything about it.
It always seems weird that most Western governments don't have much interest in hosting the games. Would have rather it be Almaty just because they've never hosted, but whatever.
