Children inherit their intelligence from their mother
A mother's genetics determines how clever her children are, according to researchers, and the father makes no difference. Women are more likely to transmit intelligence genes to their children because they are carried on the X chromosome and women have two of these, while men only have one.

BULLSHIT!!!
I'm gonna just be real for a second. Take it as you will, reject what you want as delusion on my part.
My tested and verified Stanford-Benet IQ is 163. Was, actually, because part of the S-B score is based on age and I took it when I was 11. Today I would score much lower; probably in the 135-140 range. My wife is of average intelligence. She's never taken an IQ test, but I know she is average. Both of our kids are brilliant. My son is getting straight A's in a tough engineering program at a major US university. My daughter is in college studying accounting and she is also pulling straight A's.
The joke in the family is that they got my brains and her looks.
Shit, now that I think about it, my brains came from my dad. He was a freakin' uneducated genius. It never ceased to amaze me some of the stuff he knew with no education. My mom, on the other hand, is just average. Much like my wife she is a physically beautiful woman, but she's not "smart" by any stretch of the imagination.
I realize this is just two examples in one family group, but I gotta believe that is statistically relevant considering the claim made by the author.
Are you in charge of the world now? Just askin and all.
You didn't get the memo? Shit. I'm firing my secretary first thing Monday morning.
Lol!
