This is not really new. Media companies have been doing the same thing for decades. Or you thought that the information you got from the tv or the newspaper was truly unbiased and uncensored? The Internet is no different in that sense. If your information comes from a company, you're being biased toward that company's interests, no matter what medium the information comes through. Google, Facebook, Reddit, etc. are no different from CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc.

That's true. If you switch channels during the news, you will find they all have the same news, except for the human interest stories. I no longer have a tv,but tend to get my news from AU and the BBC for the most part..And yeah, they also have their own agendas. Everyone has an ax to grind.

Somewhere along the lines companies were given a right to be moral police about what happens on their platforms, this is the same reason ad agencies can't put ads on pirate sites, because paypal will stop paying them. Paypal also holds all your money for up to 120 days to make sure it's yours they claim, I believe it's to collect interest, but what do I know. Visa and Mastercard are allowed to say where you can use their cards and what for, if they wanted to they could stop you from buying porn with them. Unfortunately at some point companies really do become too big and when they do the morality of whoever runs them rules supreme over any kind of law.

Which brings me to that pesky constitution and why this doesn't really violate the first amendment, the constitution is quite clear that only the government can't infringe on your rights not private companies.

I always starts off slow. And usually very reasonably.

Ok, so you cant use a visa credit card to buy a slave. Thats fine Ok, so now you cant use VISA for BDSM related porn / toys? Well I guess it is literally hurting people Ok, so now you cant use VISA for things that might be related to the above? I guess it makes sense

And just keeps taking half steps till eventually you have no idea how it got this far
