I'll say it again, the only constant is change. Every industry has to adapt or die. Having said that, this article makes no mention of the protests going on in Europe and the US and the many lawsuits against Uber. At the end of the day it is the consumer who decides which business will succeed and which will fail, and they will base their decision on the practices of said business. As savvy consumers, we vote with our wallets, we will always look out for the bottom line, ease of use, and convenience. Every business is wise to remember that.

Perfectly said. I'm just going to add that hurting those said consumers by doing city wide strikes is not only making the industry look like a bunch of clowns, but its also counterproductive and definitely not a way to get the point across. I bet Uber was laughing hysterically when it learned about the strikes...

You're right drunkenninja, not only did they hurt their current customers, but any potential customers by blocking the very roads their client base uses! Talk about just handing business over to the competition.
