So producing a bunch of crap content to inflate your page views isn't a viable business model long term? Who the hell runs these companies? Bunch of MBAs doing coke most likely. Do these places even have 5 year financial plans, or do they only care about the next 5 months?
Let's not forget to factor in that at least one of them, Salon, has an obvious left wing base, something that is alienating to roughly half the population of the USA.
