Through Imaginarium Of Tears, Dutch photographer Maurice Mikkers got interested in the beauty of tears and all their details. He did a photos series through a microscope and divided the tears under three big groups (basal, reflex and emotional) in order to show that the reason of a tear affects its pattern : the tear wouldn’t be the same if it was provoked by sadness or an onion. Under each tear, he noted the name of the person who shed it.
