Marijuana could be legal by Canada Day 2018
CBC News has learned that the legislation will be announced during the week of April 10 and will broadly follow the recommendation of a federally appointed task force that was chaired by former liberal Justice Minister Anne McLellan.

A much more realistic date. I remember last year people saying it would be legal by 4/20 this year.
When I was young, the parking lots of bars in Windsor, Ontario were filled with cars that had Michigan plates, because the drinking age was 19 in Canada and 21 in Michigan. So, if this proposal goes through....well, they had better hurry up and build that new bridge!
